Cello: Week 6

This week has been particularily challenging with everything that is going on in the world. Seeing the horrors of what is happening in Ukraine has been absolutely incomprehensible. I tried to focus that hurt and sorrow and direct it into different creative outlets. Ultimately I was able to animate some emotion through learning a new […]

This week we began learning how to read music is class. It turns out that there is EVEN MORE to learn that I didn’t realize existed! We were given some practice worksheets to take home, and I feel even more lost. I am really going to have to spend some time learning this skill. I […]

In the meantime, please feel free to check out the video below for a summary of my cello practice the past two weeks.

*No cello or cello accessory was harmed in the making of this production.

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and handsome it is even when playing just open strings!  After playing around for some time, I decided […]

Free Inquiry

I grew up relatively unconventionally from my peers being raised by a single father, living with my grandparents, and having a lot of freedom to explore the outdoors as a child. Coming from a single-family income and playing high level soccer meant that my dad worked evenings and weekends. I learnt a lot about what […]
