Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Ashley Conrad, and I am a mother to two wonderful children ages seven and nine, and wife to the world’s most supportive husband. I love nature and anything wild (especially beavers) and have a passion for Brazilian Jujitsu! More recently I have taken up watercolour painting as a means to creatively work through some of life’s tribulations. I am also starting to learn the cello- something I have ALWAYS wanted to do!

I have worked in Early Years for over a decade, with my last position co-educating a kindergarten class. I absolutely loved where I worked and the people I worked with. The time I spent in Sooke School District changed my trajectory, and is without a doubt what got me through one of the hardest phases of my life.

It was during the beginning stages of the COVID 19 pandemic that my colleagues and mentors encouraged (and by encouraged, I mean pushed) me out of my comfort zone, and into the first year of my Bachelor of Elementary Education.
